David CollinsExecutive Chef

David Collins was a toddler when his mom was making fried chicken and he wanted to help!  His mom let him add a piece of chicken into the skillet of piping hot Crisco.  A wave of hot oil came spilling over the side and dotted his face.  Apparently this wasn’t too dramatic because his mom could not keep him out of the kitchen ever since. Cooking enables him the creative freedom that he has not been able to find anywhere else.  He started cooking at 15 yrs old at Swan Creek Country Club and attended Baltimore International Culinary College. After moving the the Vail Valley, David continued his culinary path landing at Vista in Avon in 2003.  David moved with Vista to the country club with in 2007, shortly thereafter donning the title of Vista’s sous chef. Through years, David has excelled as a top chef for Vista at Arrowhead.
